Honda's premium arm is set to launch a new battery-electric sport utility vehicle (SUV) this year. The 2026 Acura RSX will be the first all-electric Acura that is not based on a General Motors product.

At CES, Honda provides an update on the development of the new Honda 0 e-vehicle platform, with the first models due to be launched in Europe in 2026.

The new RSX will be the first car to be built on Honda’s all-new EV-specific platform. Sales of the Acura RSX are expected to commence in early 2026. Hot on the heels of the company’s retro-name revival that has already included the likes of the Integra and the Honda Prelude,
