Since 2021, iCloud storage options have been renamed as iCloud+. With an iCloud+ membership, you get additional storage and other perks, including Hide My Mail, Custom Email Domain, etc.
You can only share iCloud Storage on the 200GB or higher plans. So you will need to be paying $2.99 to $9.99 a month to use this sharing feature. The 50GB plan cannot be shared.
Also down at the bottom, if you are using a @mac.com, @me.com, or @icloud.com email address it will show you how much space your Mail takes. Note my mail is on the bigger side of 1.6 GB.
