After delivering the organization's second Super Bowl victory, Hurts joins Nick Foles in franchise history as the only Eagles players to win Super Bowl MVP.

Namath, like Hurts, won a title at Alabama. Montana won his at Notre Dame. Hurts joined quite a group, as he is only the fourth quarterback in league history to lose his first Super Bowl and come back to win one as a starter, joining John Elway, Bob Griese and Len Dawson.

Nick Foles, the quarterback who led the Eagles to their first Super Bowl title, felt the need to weigh in on Hurts via an X post during Sunday’s game: “Jalen Hurts is so dangerous. Even when things are covered, he does an amazing job of stepping up in the pocket and getting huge yardage.”
