Dallas Stars, Jamie Benn Agree On One-Year, $1M Contract
The Dallas Stars have re-signed captain forward Jamie Benn to a one-year contract worth roughly $1 million with an additional $3 million in performance incentives. The Stars posted on social media to announce the contract agreement in a video that included highlights of Benn’s career with the Stars.

The 35-year-old left wing recorded 16 goals and 33 assists in 80 games last season with the Dallas Stars. Benn has been the Stars' captain for the past 12 seasons. This will be his 17th season on the Dallas Stars. He was drafted 129th overall by the Stars in 2007.
