Faulty second-row headrests may not lock in the upright position, increasing the risk of injury to passengers, according to federal safety regulators.

The affected population comprises 121,398 sport utility vehicles and no fewer than 764 headrests sold through Mopar as replacement parts

Chrysler reported the recall to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration on July 17. The recall affects 121,398 Jeep Grand Cherokee and Grand Cherokee L vehicles from model years 2023 and 2024.
