Air Marshal Jeetendra Mishra assumed the role of commanding the Indian Air Force's (IAF) Western Air Command on Wednesday.

Air Marshal Jeetendra Mishra, a fighter pilot of December 1986 seniority, assumed charge as the Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the IAF's Western Air Command on Wednesday. Prior to this, he was the Deputy Chief of Integrated Defence Staff (Operations). He takes over from Air Marshal Pankaj Mohan Sinha, who retired on Tuesday.
