Irving was named the MVP of the 2014 All-Star Game in New Orleans. There are five other former All-Star MVPs on Team Shaq, including LeBron James, Curry, Tatum, Lillard and Durant. The team will play against the Rising Stars squad in the first semifinal game of the newly-revamped tournament format.

After initially getting snubbed for the NBA All-Star Game, Kyrie Irving has now been tabbed as a replacement. The West Orange, N.J. native was selected by NBA Commissioner Adam Silver to replace his injured Dallas Mavericks’ teammate Anthony Davis in Sunday night’s game at the Chase Center in San Francisco.
