Lewis Hamilton is embarking on his first Formula 1 season with Ferrari after having spent six seasons with McLaren and 12 years at Mercedes. Hamilton says that he is “trying to arrive with a real open mind, I’m learning a lot, every day" with his new team at Ferrari.

Lewis Hamilton believes Ferrari has "every ingredient" to win a world championship and confirmed he has no plans to quit Formula 1 if he secures a record eighth title this year.

Sainz has been replaced by Hamilton at Ferrari this season as the seven-time world champion completed a blockbuster switch from F1 rivals Mercedes. Ferrari ended 2024 with a very strong car and narrowly missed out on a first constructors’ world championship since 2008 to McLaren.
