A 28-year-old man has been hospitalised with serious head injuries after he was allegedly hit with a baseball bat during a street brawl.

When they arrived, officers said a male victim told them that a man had beaten him with an aluminum bat. Police identified the suspect as Richard Wells Jr. and he was arrested at the scene.
