New World is an MMO, and just like most other MMO games that have been released in the past, players need to be aware of the server status.

The server status page will be updated from hour to hour to indicate which worlds are full, the New World team said, so expect what’s listed there to change between the times you check it.

They've also launched a Server Status page for New World, which will tell you if it's full, up, down, or undergoing maintenance. Amazon Game Studios announced the change via Twitter.

Looking at the New World server browser myself, I counted 92 Central EU servers each with 2,000 to 4,800 people in their queues near today's peak. That lines up.
