Police are investigating a shooting in Northeast D.C. near a high school just hours before the school day begins. Officers were called around 4:40 a.m. Thursday to the 1200 block of 49th Street NE, which is the block where Ron Brown High School and the school’s parking lot are located.

An early Monday morning shooting in Northeast D.C. left three officers injured and a suspect dead, according to police.
