In Bach’s class, a couple of standing desks were installed last week to especially help three students who have had trouble staying still for extended periods of time. So far, they’ve loved them.
The retired Hudson, N.H., resident decided he wanted to build desks for students who need them at home during remote learning — and he got his whole family in on the effort.
Though students were still distance-learning at the time construction took place, small groups were able to come in and aid in building the desks, under supervision of McClellan and Willaert.
