Barbie Hsu, a Taiwanese actress who starred in the popular TV drama “Meteor Garden” that once swept across Asia, has died after contracting pneumonia triggered by the flu.

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Barbie Hsu, a renowned Taiwanese actress and singer, had passed away at the age of 48 from influenza complications. She is most known for her role as Dong Shancai in the 2001 Taiwanese drama Meteor Garden, which also starred Jerry Yan, Vic Chou, Ken Chu, and Vanness Wu.
