The UCLA Bruins returned to the No. 1 spot in the AP Top 25 women's basketball rankings after knocking off USC in the Big Ten championship. This is the Bruins' 13th week at No. 1

After another loss to USC, the Bruins held a player-led meeting to get their minds right ahead of the postseason, which begins Friday against 10th-seeded Nebraska.

UCLA dug down and overcame major foul trouble, a huge rebounding disparity, two dozen turnovers, their star’s first-half struggles and, eventually, a 13-point deficit to beat No. 2 USC 72-67 for their first Big Ten tourney title.
