Van drives onto icy lake to deliver food to ice fisher, then falls through, WI cops say

The driver drove his van onto Shawano Lake where the fisher was located, Shawano County deputies said in a Jan. 7 news release. The white van went through the ice, a photo taken by a person nearby and shared by the sheriff’s office shows.

A van fell through ice on a lake while delivering food to a fisherman in Wisconsin. The Shawano County Sheriff’s Office said it received a call around 6:30 a.m. Tuesday about a vehicle that had gone through the ice on Shawano Lake.
