Veteran goaltender John Gibson, one of few being mentioned in trade rumors around the NHL, suffered an upper-body injury during the first period of the Anaheim Ducks' game against the Nashville Predators and was replaced by Lukas Dostal on Saturday night.

Gibson, who stopped 9 of 10 shots in the first period, was replaced by Lukas Dostal to start the second. The Ducks confirmed Gibson would not return to the game following his removal from it.
