Watching DeBrincat throw haymakers at Boston's Andrew Peeke early in Saturday's game couldn't have been easy for coach Todd McLellan.

DeBrincat, who grew up in Farmington Hills cheering for the Wings, is often noticeable around opponent's nets, where he doesn't let what he gives up in size differential deter him from buzzing around and going to dirty areas. In fact, he relishes it.
