A group of workers at California's Yosemite National Park positioned the U.S. flag on Saturday near the Horsetail Fall​ where crowds gather to witness Yosemite's annual firefall​.

An American flag was hung upside down on El Capitan at Yosemite National Park on Saturday following the firing of about 1,000 National Park Service employees.

The flag was reportedly hung over the side of El Capitan as a sign of protest by Yosemite employees concerned about the recent downsizing carried out as part of the Trump administration’s cost-cutting initiatives.
