Winter weather advisories in effect for 20+ Michigan counties due to freezing rain -- what to know
Winter weather advisories have been issued for several counties in Michigan as freezing rain is expected to move through the state.

We now expect up to five-hundredths of an inch of freezing rain over almost the southern half of Lower Michigan. This is why the NWS- Grand Rapids and the NWS- Detroit added two rows of counties to the winter weather advisory.
