Delta girls swimming won its third straight sectional title on Monday, and 14 total Muncie-area swimmers and divers advanced in the IHSAA postseason:

Class 4A top-ranked Hamilton Southeastern won its first sectional title since 2019 and had to do it in comeback fashion vs. Westfield on Saturday.

McCutcheon sophomore guard Lillie Graves surveyed the floor in the second quarter as her team trailed 19-11 with 4:04 in the IHSAA class 4A sectional. The pounding of feet and cheers of fans reverberated off the bleachers of Harold May Gymnasium and the defending sectional champions from McCutcheon found themselves getting outplayed by Lafayette Jeff.
