The Phoenix Suns, who missed the playoffs despite having Kevin Durant and Devin Booker leading the way, are one of those teams. Mat Ishbia's arrival brought uber-aggressive transactions that didn't pan out, and now it seems Durant is on his way out with a trade this offseason.

"He is known to be very interested in playing in Houston," Kelly Iko and Sam Amick of The Athletic reported Monday. "Team sources said the Rockets still have significant reservations about that possible partnership, in large part, because Durant’s age (36) would be so out of sync with their younger timeline."

The Phoenix Suns’ prized possession heading into the offseason is 15-time All-Star Kevin Durant. The 36-year-old is the franchise’s most valuable available asset this summer to try and reset the team after a horrendous 36-46 season.
