The shear line will dampen parts of Luzon, including Metro Manila, and Eastern Visayas on Christmas Day, according to PAGASA.

Expect rain to continue over Luzon on Christmas Day due to the effects of the shear line and the northeast monsoon (locally known as amihan), said the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).

PAGASA continues to monitor the tropical depression (formerly Romina) outside of the Philippine Area of Responsibility as four weather systems will bring cloudy skies and rains over parts of the country.
