While many may have hoped for a preview of summer weather over Memorial Day Weekend, forecasts showed cooler temperatures and some lingering rain on Saturday before drier and steadily warmer conditions arrive Sunday and Monday.

Memorial Day is expected to be warm and sunny, but rain is expected on Saturday and the risk of dangerous rip currents continues to grow, officials said.
