Michigan's Republican-controlled House passed two bills on Thursday addressing gender-based K-12 sports. HB 4066, which passed with a 58-46 vote, requires that school districts designate sports based on the student's biological sex and prohibits administrators from allowing transgender girls to participate in female gender-specific teams.
