The Ottawa Senators lineup just got a little less brawny as forward Nick Cousins will miss six-to-eight weeks with a knee injury, head coach Travis Green said on Wednesday.

The 31-year-old veteran was injured on Saturday night in a knee-on-knee collision with Toronto Maple Leafs rookie Jacob Quillan.

The Ottawa Senators will be without center Nick Cousins for the next six-to-eight weeks due to a knee injury, reports Postmedia’s Bruce Garrioch. Garrioch adds that Cousins will also seek a second medical opinion on the injury and its anticipated recovery timeline.
