To no one's surprise, AI took the spotlight at Samsung's latest Galaxy Unpacked event. We got to see new editing tools, better photo searches, call transcripts, and much, much more. But it wasn't the features that stood out as much as the theme they project.

The AI features on Samsung's Galaxy S25 phones uses both on-device and cloud-based AI models, including the touted AI assistant.

Samsung’s Galaxy S25 is a great device, and it does genuinely raise the bar on smartphone AI. But for home and business users, the fact this is a device that’s all about AI has come too soon for its buyers to fully understand how to stay AI-safe, or even the questions they should ask. All that should be factored in to any decision to switch.
