A Florida man is facing charges after he allegedly stole an ambulance from a Tampa hospital. Troopers say the 43-year-old swerved into oncoming traffic before finally stopping in a neighborhood. According to an arrest report, the man also cracked open a beer and finished it in front of police.

“At the intersection of South Hubert Avenue and West Empedrado Street, the driver came to a stop and finished drinking a beer in full view of troopers. As Troopers and Tampa Police Officers attempted to take the driver ... into custody, he tightly held onto the steering wheel of the ambulance to resist arrest.”
