EDT on Sunday, the National Weather Service released a tornado warning in effect until 7:15 p.m. EDT for Livingston and Shiawassee counties.

On Sunday at 1 p.m. a tornado warning was issued by the National Weather Service in effect until 1:30 p.m. for Baldwin County.

Here is some clarity on tornado watch and warning distinctions amid increased weather risks during the spring.

The National Weather Service has issued a tornado warning southwestern Franklin County, northern Fayette County, northwestern Pickaway County and southern Madison County.

Indianapolis and Central Indiana could be in for severe weather Sunday afternoon, with thunderstorms, hail and damaging winds possible.

A spring storm system will move east over the next three days, bringing a variety of dangerous and life-threatening weather from the Heartland to the East Coast.
