The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) will now take a different approach to protecting Americans against COVID-19, limiting vaccination access. Under the new FDA guidelines, only people 65 and older and others with one or more health risk factors will be able to receive COVID-19 vaccinations.

The FDA picked the LP.8.1 Covid strain for the fall vaccines, fueling concerns that the shots may be limited to only the most at-risk Americans this fall.
