A fight between Bridgeforth and one of the victims, was, according to MPD, what led to the shooting Friday night.

The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said a man was arrested in connection to a shooting that injured five people in Northeast D.C. On Jan. 3 at about 8:20 p.m., police responded to the 1500 block of Harry Thomas Way for the report of a shooting.
