To open Computer Management using Windows Search, place your cursor in the search box on the left side of the taskbar and type ‘computer’. Computer Management will show up in search results.

In Windows 7 the default location to which Explorer opens is the Libraries folder which contains your Documents. Make it open My Computer folder instead.

From the menu that appears, select Computer Management. Alternatively, if you prefer using only the keyboard, press Windows + X followed by G to directly open Computer Management.

You can open Windows Explorer to a system-level display by double clicking or right-clicking and selecting "Open" on the My Computer folder.
