Guterres, who is on a four-day visit from March 13 to Bangladesh, was addressing a joint press briefing in Dhaka, a day after he travelled to Cox’s Bazaar on a mission of solidarity with the Rohingya refugees.

U.N. Secretary-General António Guterres said Friday that the humanitarian aid cuts by the United States and other countries in Europe “are a crime.” The U.N. would do everything possible to arrange adequate funding for the Rohingya refugees after recent announcement of dramatic aid cuts by the U.
