According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the Rams signed six-time Pro Bowl receiver Davante Adams to a two-year contract worth $46 million. Adams' deal also includes $26 million guaranteed. Signing the veteran is an early move for a Los Angeles team that's expected to have a busy offseason with just over $45.
The Raiders send one of their third round picks (68 or 73) to Seattle to get Geno Smith. They have two third round picks due to the trade that sent Davante Adams to the Jets early last season. That pick turned out to be number 73.
However, in an article for The Athletic, Mike Jones predicts that this development won't stop the Rams from signing wide receiver Davante Adams in free agency and pairing him with quarterback Matthew Stafford.
According to Spotrac.com, there are 753 pending free agents this offseason, including six-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Davante Adams, who was released by the New York Jets on Tuesday.  Most free agents are unrestricted and will be free to sign a new contract with any team.
Davante Adams' time with the New York Jets was a massive disappointment and now the All-Pro is looking for one final title run.
