SHREVEPORT, La. -- A former Shreveport city councilman has died. Mayor Tom Arceneaux said former Councilman Larry Ferdinand died early last week. Ferdinand leaves a legacy of service, leadership, and commitment to the people of Shreveport that will not be forgotten, Arceneaux said in a statement.
