Kakko's Icebreaker- With just under two minutes remaining in the third period, the Penguins pulled Jarry for an extra attacker, hoping to find the equalizer and force overtime. But instead, Seattle’s Kaapo Kakko sealed the deal, sending the puck into the empty net to give the Kraken the 4-2 win.

The Pittsburgh Penguins and the Seattle Kraken face off in an out-of-conference matchup. Pittsburgh has a 12-9-3 record in home games and an 18-19-8 record overall. The Penguins have an 8-1-4 record in games decided by one goal.
