With at least 5,000 structures destroyed, the Palisades Fire has wreaked absolute destruction on Pacific Palisades and the surrounding area. But as evacuation orders remain in place, many residents have been unable to get confirmation whether their homes remain standing.

Sky5 got its first clear look at the destruction caused by the Palisades Fire Thursday morning and used satellite technology to share before and after aerial views of the neighborhoods and businesses devastated by the blaze.
