Taiwanese actress Barbie Hsu died at 48 recently. Best-known for starring in classic TV series Meteor Garden (2001), Barbie was married to South Korean singer and songwriter DJ Koo. Jerry Yan, her co-star from the cult classic show has posted a heartfelt tribute for the veteran star on social media.

Japanese manga artist Yoko Kamio, author of the popular comic series Hana Yori Dango (Boys Over Flowers, 1992 to 2004), has paid tribute to Barbie Hsu. The Taiwanese actress died at the age of 48 after she came down with influenza-related pneumonia in Japan.
