THE Anglican Church in Tasmania will proceed with a plan to sell 108 properties, including 76 churches, in a history-making move to help fund redress for survivors of child sexual abuse.

St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church hosted a Fourth-of-July-themed bake sale on June 27 in the Village Green Mall.

When the sale is over, Goodwill Industries picks up the leftover merchandise. This year's will be the church's 23rd flea market. Desert Skies first held the sale to raise money to buy a computer.
