CLEVELAND, Ohio — Tanner Bibee, Ben Lively and Luis Ortiz are among the starting pitchers who should feel pretty confident about their spots in the Guardians rotation. Beyond that, there are a bunch of arms that have something to prove in spring training in order to win a regular turn every five days.

If you have followed the Cleveland Guardians offseason, you know that they currently have an opening at second base and right field. Yes, they could definitely use another starter and a relief arm, but those needs are not as urgent or pressing as second base.

The Cleveland Guardians made a bold decision when they chose to trade Andres Gimenez. As much as he had regressed at the plate, he was still one of the best defensive infielders in all of baseball. The team is clearly hoping that someone else will step up and provide a boost to their offense,
