Jimmy Butler got what he wanted. He's being traded out of Miami and got a new contract in the process. The Heat and the Golden State Warriors have agreed on a deal that sends Butler to the Bay Area, a person with knowledge of the talks said Wednesday.

After months of suspensions, fines, and off-court drama, the Miami Heat have officially traded Jimmy Butler to the Golden State Warriors. According to ESPN’s Shams Charania, the deal sends Andrew Wiggins and a protected first-round pick to Miami while Dennis Schroder and Kyle Anderson are heading to the Jazz and Pistons.
