All the wonderful accolades and remembrances of the life of President Jimmy Carter are certainly well deserved. He was a man of such decency and service to benefit of others. His legacy could not be more of a contrast to that of our president elect.

Following the honors in Washington, it was his wish to be buried in his hometown of Plains, next to his beloved wife of 77 years, Rosalynn Carter. After Carter's family disembarked the plane, his casket was carried from the plane and transferred to the hearse.
