CHP-Solano officials will issue another media advisory at 5 p.m. Friday about the checkpoint’s exact location.

With additional staffing and a maximum deployment effort, officers focused on addressing issues such as excessive speed, DUI offenses, and other factors contributing to crashes to enhance road safety.

On Friday the California Highway Patrol, Solano Area, will be conducting a sobriety and driver license checkpoint within Solano County. The checkpoint will be operational from approximately 7 p.m.
