A tragic shooting in NW Georgia last weekend has claimed the life of an off-duty police officer, bringing the total death toll to four after a Marietta man opened fire inside a Walker County home.

In its latest update, the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) said there were 259 cases of measles across the South Plains.
