Protests against raids by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) popped up in major cities across the country this week as organizing groups gear up for a nationwide day of action on Saturday

Nationwide ICE protests erupt in Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, Chicago, and other cities, as a No Kings Day march is planned.

As immigration raids continue to ramp up, anti-ICE protests are now sweeping the nation from Los Angeles to Chicago and even right here in Florida.

Los Angeles imposed a curfew Tuesday evening until Wednesday morning to clamp down on instances of lawlessness, including looting and vandalism. Protesters still gathered but dispersed two hours after the curfew began.

SDPD said it "full supports the right to peacefully assemble and exercise free speech" and that it recognizes how the actions taken by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents have "deeply affected" the community.
