ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — It's been an Old Town tradition for 26 years, and while many people think the Christmas tree is a display put up by the city of Albuquerque, it's actually not.
The official tree lighting is scheduled to happen Friday, Dec. 2 during the Old Town Holiday Stroll. KOB’s Steve Stucker and Albuquerque’s First Lady, Elizabeth Keller, are set to flip the switch.
