As Gamecock fans across the country are celebrating women’s basketball reaching the final four again, the excitement from fans in Downtown Columbia has yet to waver.

A fifth straight trip to the Final Four is on the line for the Gamecocks. Duke is back in the Elight Eight for the first time since 2013.

Feagin sat behind the likes of future WNBA draft picks in Victaria Saxton, Laeticia Amihere, Aliyah Boston and Kamilla Cardoso for the first three years of her career. She’s finally gotten an opportunity to step into the limelight this season and has started in all 35 games for the Gamecocks.

Chloe Kitts scored 14 points and defending national champion South Carolina reached the Final Four of the women’s NCAA Tournament for a fifth straight year, beating Duke 54-50.

Excitement ran through Columbia Sunday, as the Gamecocks punched their trip to Tampa with a 54 to 50 win over the Blue Devils.
