For the first time in his decorated career, Golden State Warriors superstar Steph Curry was named the 5-on-5 Male Athlete of the Year by USA Basketball after leading the national squad to a gold medal in the Paris Olympics.

Warriors star Stephen Curry said his injured thumb is a lingering issue but "shouldn't bother me like it did" Saturday night, when he shot 0-of-8 in the second half of a 118-108 loss to the Lakers.

Warriors head coach Steve Kerr discussed the team’s approach at the trade deadline and, much like Stephen Curry, focused on improving the team without sacrificing its core. Kerr revealed that the move must address the Warriors’ immediate needs while keeping the team’s future in mind, per ESPN’s Ohm Youngmisuk.
