UConn men's hockey to play in Hockey East Championship
There is a lot for UConn fans to be excited about this week. The men’s hockey team defeated Boston University in the Hockey East semifinals, 5 to 2, on Thursday and they will play for a Hockey East Championship on Friday when the Huskies will take on Maine.

Maine has been a dormant program looking to reclaim a dominant position in Hockey East. Senior center Nolan Renwick scored the game winner at 11:02 in double overtime to lift the Black Bears to a 4-3 victory over Northeastern in the late Hockey East semifinal game on Thursday night at the TD Garden.
