CHANDIGARH: Eight people were killed and 26 others injured after a private bus, carrying 44 passengers, fell into the Lasara drain near Jiwan Singh Wala village

The accidents took place in Barnala and Bathinda districts. The buses were transporting farmer union members to the Kisan Mahapanchayats at Khanauri and Tohana.
