Battlefield 6 will be getting an open beta on Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S (along with other platforms) in August, meaning you'll be able to give it a try in just over a week's time. Specifically, the Battlefield 6 open beta will be available from August 9th-10th and August 14th-17th, with preloads beginning on August 4th.
